Schools in Comanche County's Unified School District 300 are top rated throughout the state in academics, athletics, and performing are. Entering the 21st century the counties educational program is stronger after the 1999 consolidation of USD 300's schools.

High Schooler’s   from across the county attend South Central High School in Coldwater. South Central classes enjoy a low pupil-teacher ratio. With fewer students, kids can participate in more activities leaving no one out!

The curriculum provides a balance between the traditional "Three R's" and high tech. Some courses come through an innovative two, way interactive television system.
